This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
There is a community for ACT deviant artists at ~deviACT.
I have once previously attended at CPS meeting where people had presented photos and a guest awarded some prizes, perhaps a distinction, credit kind of thing if my memory serves.
I did not attend again as the focus seemed to be more conceptual and "artistic" .. however I have always been one to advocate the meet and greet of photographers and have previously suggested a joint DeviACT and Flikr ACT meet. (Flikr being another photographic site. This is their clubs [link]).
Hello - I'm afraid I do not know anyone that you have mentioned to be at that plaza. As for young active photographers, I do not know any locally, sorry I'm the only one I know of hah!

I also created the ACT club on deviantart.
